About Mady Lykeridou
Born in 1976 in Athens, I am a graduate of the Department of Photography and Audiovisual Arts, Athens.
1997-1998 I went to Paris where I worked as a Photographer. My work focused on artists portraits and street photography. Traveling in Europe and all around the world capturing moments through my lenses has been an intrinsic part of me.
Since 2002 I have been living on the island of Milos where I fell in love with the beauty of the place and my husband.
Team and solo exhibitions have been presented since then. Works of mine have also been published in magazines and tourist guidebooks. A permanent solo exhibition of mine can be seen in the WWII Bomb Shelter of Adamas Modern Art Gallery.
In 2016 as a curator of "May 4" project we won the NEON (supporting creactivity) fund.
